Welcome to Class 7!

This week, we visited the 'International Centre for Life' in Newcastle where we had a fun-filled day of activities. We participated in many fun tasks and all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The 'Rocks and Soils workshop' was interesting because we got to help with some experiments. We tried our best to stay upright when we were ice-skating but some of us spent most of the time on our bottoms. To end the day, we watched a live Science experiment show. It was great because we got to vote for the experiments that we wanted to see.

Have a look at some of the photos below. We would love to go there again!

Today, we visited a Community Festival of Nativities at The Church of Latter -Day Saints. Our children took part in a range of activities including an exhibition of nativity scenes and symbols of Christmas, interactive children's room and craft room, and a 'taste' of Bethlehem.

Both year 3 classes really enjoyed their Stone Age Workshop. Please see the images below.
