Anti-Bullying

At Vane Road we are committed to ensuring that every child is happy and feels safe.  The school has a rigorous Anti-Bullying Policy which aims to deal with matters of bullying swiftly and effectively.  The school has implemented the Restorative Approach to dealing with conflict issues.

Communication is the key to eradicating bullying in schools as it is impossible for us to address issues if we don't know about them.  In an attempt to improve communication we have set up the form below.  The main purpose of this form is for Parents/Carers to fill in the form to raise a concern with the school.  The school will take every referral seriously and will contact the sender before beginning an investigation to clarify any details.  You can also telephone the school to discuss concerns at anytime.  The form could also be used by children at the school if they wish to.

Bullying Concern form

Please use this form if you are concerned about a potential bullying issue at the school. We aim to respond to your concern within 24 school working hours of receiving this form; if you have not heard from us in that time, please contact the school office.
